God has a plan for the Church. God has a plan for redemption for His creation. God has a message of hope to be shared with the world. His plan for me is that I get to participate with Him in sharing that message. I get to join Him in the process of seeing the Kingdom of God lived out in the here and now. God will not give up on His plan.
Many pastors live a very lonely life. They are surrounded by people, but they are devoid of meaningful, life-giving relationships. Worse yet, they do not see this situation changing any time soon.
I am a Bible nerd, and I know it. I have a t-shirt that simply has the word “exegesis” over the word “eisegesis” like a rebus puzzle. I think it is hilarious.
